Shaw Ribbon-Palooza: Quintuple Bar and Restaurant Ribbon Cutting Tour, 12/17/13, 10:00-11 AM

Join Mayor Vincent C. Gray and Ward 1 Councilmember Jim Graham on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at 10:00 AM for a record-setting event: five ribbon cuttings for new Shaw dining and drinking establishments in one hour!

The fun starts at Right Right Proper Brewing Company, 624 T Street, NW, with remarks from the elected officials, followed by the first ribbon cutting.

Next stop will be Southern Efficiency, 1841 7th Street, NW, a new whiskey bar featuring modern takes on Southern cuisine standouts, and a second ribbon cutting.

Right next door, at Eat the Rich, 1839 7th Street, NW, a third ribbon will be cut for this shrine to Chesapeake seafood and the beers and cocktails that complement it.

For the fourth ribbon cutting, we'll head to All Souls Bar at 725 T Street, NW.

And for the grand finale, we'll cut the fifth ribbon at Dunya, a Mediterranean restaurant at 801 Florida Avenue, NW.

Along the way, participants will be able to enjoy food and beverage samples. This event is free and open to the public, and no reservations are required.,
