Shaw Open House and Capital Couture

Shaw Main Streets' annual Lower 9th Street Open House on June 23, 2012, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, has been expanded to include several lower 7th Street businesses and Capital Couture, a series of fashion programs sponsored by the DC Fashion Incubator at 760 N Street, NW.

Come enjoy free samples of food and beverages provided by SMS area businesses, including the debut of Filibuster Bourbon at Modern Liquors, and enjoy fashion shows and clinics at neighborhood venues, including the Watha T. Daniel/Shaw Library.

Just pick up a free event passport at participating businesses and enjoy an afternoon of Shaw chic!

And be sure to pick up a Free Shaw Main Streets Recyclable Bag, available while supplies last! Be sure to ask participating businesses for your bag, as modeled by our Howard University intern, Simone Ellison.
