Shaw Main Streets is holding a Meet & Greet for Shaw Business Owners on Tuesday, June 26, 2012, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Old Dominion Brewhouse, 1319 9th Street, NW. All Shaw business owners are invited, and refreshments will be served.

This is an opportunity for small business owners to interact with each other, build relationships for cross promotions, and to hear plans for Shaw Main Streets programs that will help businesses improve operations and profitability, including micro loans, business
consulting, technical assistance, marketing and promotion, and much more. Representatives from SMS partners and contractors will be on hand to discuss social media cross marketing opportunities, facade improvement funding, and other initiatives. In addition,
representatives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District will be on hand to listen to business owners’ concerns and
discuss how owners can help avoid becoming victims.
