New Video Project Tackles Blagden Alley and Naylor Court History
Shaw Main Streets is pleased to announce it is serving as the fiscal sponsor for long-time Shaw resident and Emmy Awarded producer Todd Clark's newest documentary project, "Transformation Alley: Migration, Race and Urban Change in Blagden Alley/Naylor Court." All donations are fully tax deductible.
This comprehensive documentary program will spotlight three generations of community living in these hidden alleys, beginning with displaced and marginalized African Americans in the 1890's, the underground arts community and vibrant arts studios of the 1990's and finally, the current residential preservation efforts and nightlife, gallery and fine dining destinations of today.
