Celebrated Vietnamese Restaurant Opens New Location in Shaw, 09/18/26!
GRAND OPENING!
Shaw’s newest restaurant, Pho Viet WDC, a second location of the Columbia Heights restaurant the Washington Post said “serves the best bowl of pho in town,” opens on Friday, September 18, 2026 at 1521 11th Street, NW.
The grand opening celebration starts at 8 AM, with a blessing by Buddhist monks, followed at 10 AM with a lion dance performance and a ribbon cutting ceremony with DC government officials at 10:30 AM. The restaurant opens its doors to the public at 11 AM.
Pho Viet WDC serves authentic Vietnamese cuisine, specializing in noodle soup (Phở) and grilled dishes.
Pho Viet WDC (not to be confused with Pho Viet USA, further up on 11th Street) will be open Mondays, Wednesdays-Saturdays, 11 AM-9 PM, Sundays, 11 AM-8PM. CLOSED Tuesdays.
